Louis Tanuatmadja, better known as LTN, is one of the most respected and consistent producers in modern melodic progressive trance. Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, LTN represents a rare success story from Southeast Asia in a genre long dominated by European and North American artists.
Inspired at age 15 by legends like Above & Beyond, Myon & Shane 54, and Markus Schulz, Louis bought his first DJ setup in the late 1990s and quickly developed a signature sound: lush, euphoric melodies, emotive vocal chops, crystalline pianos, and driving yet atmospheric basslines that feel equally at home in sunrise sets and peak-time club moments.
His breakthrough came in 2012 when he was named Breakthrough DJ/Producer of the Year by Dash Berlin and The Next Big Thing by Solarstone. Tracks like “Never Let Me Go”, “City of Lights”, “Daylight”, and “A Path To Nowhere” stormed the Beatport Trance Top 10 and earned heavy rotation from the genre’s elite.
LTN’s debut artist album People I’ll Never Forget (2015) reached #2 on Beatport and was crowned “Album of the Month” by Mixmag. His sophomore album The Path of Life (2020–2021) on Above & Beyond’s AVA Recordings solidified his status as a master of emotional, journey-like progressive trance.
Over the years LTN has released on the scene’s most prestigious imprints including Enhanced Progressive, Silk Music, AVA Recordings, Black Hole Recordings, Ride Recordings, Armada Music, and Interplay. He also runs his own Blade Records imprint.
Under his deeper alias Ghostbeat, Louis explores progressive house and melodic techno territories, with standout releases like “After Dark” (2025) and collaborations featuring vocalists such as Hidden Tigress and Christina Novelli.
A tireless producer, LTN’s catalogue now exceeds hundreds of originals and remixes, consistently supported by Above & Beyond (regular features on Group Therapy), Andrew Bayer, Ilan Bluestone, Mat Zo, Jason Ross, and many more. His long-running radio show Above The Sky remains a beloved source of melodic euphoria for fans worldwide.
Though primarily studio-focused, LTN has performed across Asia, Australia, and at key electronic music events, bringing his signature sunrise energy to clubs and festivals alike.
